We are pleased to present one of the most advanced products made by Forge Fedriga: A pump body assembled and machined according to drawing to for the creation of a Super Duplex Water Injection Pump (ASTM A182 F53 & ASTM A182 F55) designed to guarantee exceptional performance even in the most extreme conditions.

In the Oil & Gas sector, a Water Injection Pump is a high-pressure pump used to inject water into oil fields with the main goal of maintaining reservoir pressure and maximizing oil production.

What it is and what it is used for:

When a field begins to lose pressure (after the initial stage of natural production), oil production slows. To combat this phenomenon, water is injected into the reservoir through dedicated injection wells. This process is called water flooding, and is a common technique of Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR).

The water injection pump is therefore the heart of the system: it pumps water at very high pressures (up to 400 bar or more) to push it deep into the reservoir.

This pump has been specially developed to address the most complex challenges in the offshore and pipeline environment, including
